Chapter 108: The Unknown Object

Late at night, in Xiagong City, down a dimly lit alleyway.

A man clad entirely in a black robe plunged a knife into the chest of a drunken middle-aged man. The victim didn’t even have time to utter a sound before his body went limp instantly.

The man in black withdrew the blade and stretched out a hand, pressing it against the wound.

His originally pale hand seemed to be gradually coated in a layer of tar-like substance, a black liquid seeping into the wound on the corpse.
