Car Accident 2
He spoke earnestly, “As long as she’s all right, she’ll definitely come to school! So all you have to do is wait here at school!”
The wind kept blowing, and the once-blue sky was gradually covered in clouds. It seemed a storm was about to descend.
Dongfang Shuo fixed his gaze on Yu; if Yu refused to listen, even if he gave his all, he wouldn’t be able to stop him.
But perhaps his words had worked. Ouyang Qianyu actually turned and walked toward the classroom. It appeared Yu still retained his reason.
It was a critical moment, and there could be no mistakes. All the instructors had already arrived at the school, so getting out of the gates now was simply impossible.
If Ouyang Qianyu tried to force his way out, it would no doubt end badly. Who knows what difficulties he might face during the military training then.
Dongfang Shuo followed closely behind Ouyang Qianyu, afraid he might suddenly change his mind. Yu kept his hands in his pockets, clenched tightly into fists.
He struggled to suppress his impulse to go searching for Xiao. In his heart he thought, Xiao, you must be safe—please, you must be! With this in mind, he looked up at the sky.
After a moment of silence, he lowered his head and quickened his pace. The two walked toward the classroom, each lost in their own thoughts. The height of summer always made tempers run short.
A strong wind swept through, sending leaves fluttering in one direction. Even the roses, which had barely bloomed, were stripped of their petals. Everything seemed to foretell the coming storm.
The students returned to their respective classes, preparing to meet the “devil instructors” who would accompany them for the next half month. They all felt a mixture of awe and fear toward the instructors.
No matter how wealthy their families were, none could avoid the ordeal of military training. The only way was to suppress their tempers and follow the instructors’ orders.
Ouyang Qianyu sat irritably in his seat, his presence unusually intimidating. His brows were locked in a deep frown, and he clenched a water bottle tightly in his hands.
At last, everyone in the class had arrived. The instructor ordered them to hand in all electronic devices, which were forbidden in the military training zone.
When the young masters and ladies heard this, the classroom erupted in groans. But cowed by the instructor’s authority, they obediently handed them over.
Soon, it was time to board the bus for the military training district. The aura around Yu grew more unsettling with every passing minute.
The instructor swept his cold gaze across the crowd and announced in a booming voice, “Now that everyone is present, take your luggage and prepare to board the bus!”
With that, he turned and led the class out of Class A. Everyone lined up in order, marching forward in an orderly manner.
As they stepped through the school gates, Xiao Shangguan arrived with the Dean just in time to meet them.
The Dean spoke to the instructor—whatever was said, the instructor turned and scrutinized Xiao for a moment.
He nodded to her, then turned to address the students of Class A. “Since Class F has already departed, Shangguan Xiao will now join us!”
The instructor stood upright, scanning the surroundings. Seeing no objections, he signaled Xiao to join the line.
The happiest people upon seeing Xiao were none other than Ouyang Qianyu and Tang Meng.
Everyone knew she’d been in a car accident, but seeing her safe and sound now finally set their minds at ease. Xiao queued up with the Class A students and boarded the bus with them.
